This 'Game of Thrones' Theory About Dany's Dragons Changes Everything

With only two episodes left of Game of Thrones, fans are starting to wonder how Daenerys Targaryen is going bounce back after losing two of her three dragons. While Viserion bit the bullet (and was subsequently turned into an ice monster by the Night King) last season, Rhaegal was shot down by Euron Greyjoy in the fourth episode of the current season. The loss of Dany's second dragon is big a set back for her as she prepares to face off against Cersei Lannister.

Well, some attentive fans have a theory about that. Piloi Asbaek, the actor behind Euron Greyjoy, shared an interesting Instagram post telling fans they might see two dragons in episode five. While the nature of the post was a bit silly, it definitely didn't go unnoticed by fans.

In addition to Asbaek's post, some fans believe the show planted the seeds of a plot twist way back in season four. You may have forgotten this plot point (there's a lot going on in Westeros, after all), but back when Dany was in Meereen Drogon disappeared for a bit. The show never explained what happened to Drogon during that time.

"What if - bear with me now - WHAT IF...the reason Drogon ‘disappeared’ randomly in the earlier season was because it had sex with its brother and went off to lay it’s eggs in Valyria or something, and the babies rock up in the last episode to f**k things up?" one fan wrote on Twitter.

Another fan slowed down a shot from the trailer for episode five, as well, which appears to show multiple dragons flying around the sky.

What do you think? Is Dany about to become the grand-mother of dragons in episode five? Emilia Clarke did warn Thrones fans that this upcoming episode will blow them out of the water. We'll just have to wait and see.
