Dua Lipa just gave us a glimpse at her new music video featuring DaBaby.
This Friday (October 2), the English pop star and the North Carolina-bred rapper will join forces on a brand-new remix of โLevitating,โ the latest single from Lipaโs sophomore album, Future Nostalgia.
โGET READY 4 BLAST OFF - LEVITATING @DaBabyDaBaby,โ she tweeted early this morning with a seven-second preview of the visual, which shows Lipa relaxing on the hood of a car before transitioning to the duo hanging out at a dance club.
The singer previously announced the new collaboration last week, and then teased fans with a longer TikTok promo clip for the video in which Lipa plays hostess to guests entering the intergalactic โLevitating Experience.โ
โDonโt be afraid, go toward the light,โ says the superstar in the teaser. โYou may feel a slight tickle as you enter the mist. Donโt be alarmed about your new look, itโs all a part of the fun.โ
This wonโt be the first time Lipa has given the song a makeover this year. In August, she turned the record into a super collab by enlisting Missy Elliott and Madonna on The Blessed Madonnaโs remix, which kicks up the tempo a notch and incorporates more electro-disco and future bass elements. The trio also unveiled a music video to accompany the highly-anticipated project.
The new "Levitating" remix will mark DaBaby's fifth collaboration โ his first with a pop star โ this year following "Rockstarr" with Roddy Ricch, "No Dribble" with Stunna 4 Vegas, "Blind" with Young Thug, and "Oprah's Bank Account" with Lil Yachty and Drake.
