Doja Cat is back with a brand new album and it's a blast from the past with a 1980s-inspired sound.

Doja dropped her fifth studio album Vie on Friday (September 26), a follow-up to 2023's Scarlet that includes songs like "Jealous Type" and her new single "Gorgeous." During a special iHeartRadio Album Preview party on Wednesday (September 24), she explained the origin of the album title and how it fits with the "sexy" and "romantic" feeling of the record.

In addition to the album, Doja also dropped a music video for "Gorgeous," perfectly recreating an '80s beauty ad, a nostalgic hit that resonates both with people were around at the height of the era and younger fans who yearn for the retro vibes. Directed by Bardia Zeinali, the video features cameos from several supermodels like Alex Consani, Anok Yai, Irina Shayk, Alek Wek, Imaan Hammam and more as well as a special appearance from Doja's mother, Deborah Sawyer, per W Magazine.

As she raps, "I look like my family, I don't need to brag," Doja she appears alongside her mom, who is glammed up with a blonde '80s-style perm and diamond choker necklace to compliment her daughter's more fiery look.

"Even when we sit in the dark/ I feel the prettiest that you ever saw," she sings in the chorus. "Are your eyes even open? It ain't ever really our fault/ We make a killing being so beautiful/ It's a crime to be gorgeous."

Doja teased this track and more at the iHeartRadio Album Preview party, giving fans a chance to hear four unheard songs from the album and give exclusive commentary about the making of the record.
